Scope Creep¶
I was pretty surprised I had usable program within maybe 2 days. I wanted to see how far I could push my luck, and I set off seeing if I could "play god" and let my designs run wild. My first "big feature" was the Environmental Curve UI. I've been screwing with node graph UI's since highschool, and had a crystal clear vision for how I wanted it to work and feel. I would say most node graphs are lacking, because it takes a lot of work to wrangle one and add enough polish so it feels fluid.
A big realization for me with AI tooling is that you can get closer to an ideal design phase with it, since one person (or a few) can hold a vision, and focus on all the microscopic details that go into it, rather than destroying their short term memory stack by constantly flicking back and forth between hours of diagnosis, and short bursts of big-picture thinking. I found its great to typically sit in front of one or more running agents, and contemplate where you're going with a particular design, whats possible, how best to fix something, and every few minutes interact with the agent(s), refine whatever, rinse and repeat. I am not going to sit here and rant like some neurotoxic slop poster too much so I'll leave it at that.
