Axe Setup and Care

I used tung oil, didn't work the way I wanted. Gave it months of cure time.

Heatgun melted on carnauba. thin on handle, very thick drenching of handle end caps. Blowtorch to preheat head for coating as well. careful blowtorch will scorch handle if you aim wrong.

Sanding - I want some texture so its smoother, I usually end with 320 or 400 grit
