Circuit Design Software¶
There's a healthy selection of enterprise grade applications for advanced circuit simulation and pcb/ic design. These include PSpice, Cadence (OrCAD etc), Keysight ADS, etc.
The issue is not price, it is the ease of use and community support around these tools. They are geared towards VERY complex and state of the art designs. They will have little overlap with hobbyist electronics as far as models for weird discrete parts, learning curve, and community support and adopted use.
